Midhills was founded in Solan, Himachal Pradesh, in the 1980s — a stone’s throw from the chir pine forests that still supply our raw resin today. We are family-led, vertically integrated, and stubbornly focused on a single material.

What started as a small distillation operation has grown into one of India’s most respected pine houses — supplying paints, adhesives, fragrance and food customers across thirty countries.

Sourcing, distillation, derivatisation, blending and packaging — every step is run by Midhills personnel. That is why a shipment leaving our plant in 2026 will match one we sent in 2019.

Our laboratory and pilot facility lets us co-develop grades with formulator customers — without the months-long lead times of contract houses. From new ester structures to higher-purity terpene fractions, we can move from request to sample in weeks.
